Yep, just like it sounds, the MST 100 Day Couch to Kick Ass Challenge is launched 100 days before every MST race. The Challenge is designed to take you from  Couch to Kick ass form in 100 days, so that you show up fit, pumped and ready to go on race day.


We will send out a W.O.D. (work out of the day) each day starting at Day 1, and we have a closed Facebook training group which is free to join and an awesome place to tell people how much everyone likes doing burpies 🙂

    Looking forward to this training. I am up for this challenge!!!!

  2. I am supposed to have knee surgery in Dec or Jan and am hoping I am well enough to participate. I am 47 years old and don’t want to die on the course. I am not to badly out of shape, but due to the knee thing, haven’t been as active as I usually am. HELP!!

    • Hey Shannon,

      You need to ensure that your knee is good to go for you first and foremost. Are you seeing a physio after your surgery, or is their a trainer in your gym that can assist with rehab exercises?

    I’m looking to bring a team together for the Kelowna 8 km Course on May 14th 2016. At this moment I have lots of interest from people at work and some friends. If I don’t have the numbers by race time, can individuals who register be added to the group to bring the numbers up to 12? I’d like to get in on the early bird registration, but do not see it up on the website yet, only see 2015’s. If I register early, do I have to pay when registering? Will the WOD be emailed to each of the registered participants 100 days before race day?

    • Hi Kathy – great news.Yes, individuals who register can be added to the group, no problem. Once people register or send their email we can add them to the W.O.D. Just let me know how I can help 🙂

  5. I had my second son October 12th and am so ready to get back into shape and do MST with my sister and husband! I would love to receive the 100 MST training WOD!

  6. I’m really hopeful to enter this race with a small team but am worried I am not ready or able to do this sort of race. I picked it as a goal to help in my weight loss journey. ….just needing some guidance and some insight into what I need to be at fitness level wise to be successful in finishing

  7. I was very impressed of how excellent this MST Prince George event was organized. I didn’t do very much training but it is definitely something everyone should be ready for. It was tough and very challenging. Good luck to all the participants. I look forward to this years MST in Prince George in 2016.

  9. Very interested in your WOD, have some worries that the mud sweat and tears course may be above my fitness level but as they say what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger

    • Hi Lori,

      You will do great! THe first thing to do is work on managing a reasonably fast 5km walking pace and build core strength and Upper body strength along with it. I will add you to the W.O.D. list today, which you will receive in your inbox starting tomorrow, as well as send you a link to today’s. If you’re already at or beyond the 5km fast walking pace you’re well on your way!

If we’re signing up as a team for the Regina race in September, is there any way we can have access to the 100 day training info any earlier, like when you start doing it for the other teams that have races earlier in the year? Or do we need too wait to access that until 100 days before our own race?

  15. I am 55, registered for Regina and really excited about doing this race, but it also has me really concerned thinking of my fitness level now. Do I need to do anything else to get the WOD

  16. Where exactly is the Moncton event being held. Will likely be a late registrant and as an individual. I am pretty fit; summitted Kilimanjaro 2 years ago and goung to do it again next year. Can I get the WOD so I can see if my gym routine is going to be enough, and on track for MST.
