  1. Hello,

I am interested in joining your event i Regina. We are a big group of nursing students and were wondering what the cost of the event is.

Thanks and have a good day,
    Scott Mao

    • Hey Scott,

Thanks for your interest. For a group of 12 or more we can get your team in for $60/ person + processing fees and taxes during our first early bird range. Plus I will email you a code to get a further $10 off per person, which you’re welcome to share far and wide.

      Cheers,

      John

  2. Hi! Can I get the discount code, also? And, if I register as a team, can I keep adding people to my team after my initial registration or do we need to register at the same time (to ensure we can all race at the same time)?

    • Hi Rhonda- of course you can. We’re going to send it out to everyone and will post it on FB and the event page on FB as well.
Registration- when you set up a team, you have the choice of just paying for yourself or paying for more than one person, or sending out invitations to others to join the team. This way people are responsible for submitting and completing their own registration and paying individually. And yes, you can keep adding people to your team 🙂

    • Hi Crystal- please use the code MSTREG-010 for $10 off. Please remember when setting up your team that teammates must pay individually to get the $10 off. Thanks so much!

  3. Interested in joining! Just wondering if there’s any way to ensure my boyfriend and I have the same start time as we’d like to run together? Thanks!

  4. If you put a team in, do they all have to do the same distance? Also, can you send me the email code as well for an additional discount? One more question, how do I get on the list for the training WOD?

    • Hi Kyla- great questions 🙂 Responses below:

      – Team members can elect to complete either the 5 or the 10k distance, and they select this at time of registration
      – Use the code MUDRACEREGINA to save $10 off when registering. Please note that people must pay individually to get this discount, as it’s only programmed to deduct $10 off the total shopping cart amount and cannot differentiate between the number of people that the amount represents.
      – Work out of the day – I will add you to the list right now 🙂

  5. Hey,
I’m interested in registering. if at some point after I’ve registered and noticed I have enough friends registered individually and we’d like to become a team, do we get the team discount? and are we able to use a CODE after we’ve already completed the registration?

    Thanks

    • Hi Chelsie,

Great questions! The way the team sign up works is that we ask people to commit to registering a team of 12+ in order to get the discount pricing for 12+, or you can choose to register a team of any size which is not discounted. Also, you cannot use a code after you’ve registered as it is a separate or in this case another transaction. What race were you thinking of?

  6. I know you guys don’t want to give out the exact course, but I just wanted to know this (it may or may not be a stupid question)–for the Regina race, will there be any swimming through Wascana lake? Just want to be sure! Thanks!

    • Hi Louise,

All questions are great questions! In terms of swimming or water features on any race – racers always have the option of taking an alternate route around them, and opting for the penalty instead of completing the obstacle. This also carries forward with any obstacle.

      Cheers,

      John

    • Hi Betty,

Please use the code MUDRACEREGINA for $10 off at the check out. Make sure you enter the code in all caps and if you have any questions or we can assist at any time please let me know 🙂

      John

    • Hi Heather,

We’ve actually changed the minimum age to 13 and ask that racers between the ages of 13-15 inclusive race with an adult.

Thanks for the question. – John

  7. Hi,

Are you having a kids race? If so, what ages?

This is our first year. Can you please explain how/where we get the discount code people are asking about?

Can anyone shed light on how they prep/train for a race with obstacles such as this?

If we volunteer, what types of volunteer duties would we potentially be doing?

    • Hi Angie,

Our races are open to people 13 and up.
Discount code good for $12 off until the end of this month is MSTREGINA12
Training- focus on core, cardio, legs, and upper body. Running, walking, squats, push ups, burpees, light weights, hill climbs. I will add you to our work out of the day that we send out.
Volunteer duties range from admin to course marshals and general help on race day.

  8. Hi
When is it too late to register?
Can you run as an individual or can you be put on a team if you need the support ?
This is so out of my comfort zone yet it’s something that I’m feeling inspired to do and I’ve been procrastinating even asking the questions .
    Thanks for your time .

    • Hi Tracy,

Awesome to hear that you are thinking about racing with us. You can actually register at the race on race day however, it’s always better to register earlier. I think that you will do great and it’s an awesome idea to start trainmen for the race now. Cheers, John

  9. Hi there. I want to send out a group email to my team. How do I do that? I can’t even find how to sign in without re-registering. Ha

  10. Hi,

Our local gym has entered a team they have entered for the 10km. There are a few of us that were supposed to be part of the team but are only wanting to do the 5km. Is it possible to be on the team still without completing the 10km that the team name is registered for?
Will we be doing the first 5km with the team?

    Thanks in advance.

  11. Hi- we only have 6 people on our team and coworkers have a team of 4, can we join forces? And also our team members did not all sign up at the same time but we would like to race together- how do we proceed? Most are registered for 1130am.
